Station Tours & Events

Station Tours

There are many tours of the Fire Department conducted for children annually.

The tours involve the children in various fire prevention activities. The children participate in stop, drop, and roll and identifying with Sparky, the nationally known Dalmatian.

We receive input from the community from time to time that the fire prevention efforts are being successful in preventing fires and allowing children to protect themselves from devastating incidents.

Each year the program involves thousands of children from not only Canyon but also other surrounding panhandle communities.

Station Events

Canyon Fire also will go to your school and teach classes about fire safety along with showing the children firefighter gear and equipment. Students also get a chance to see a fire tuck.
